I can't recommend anyone in the areas you would find useful but, I
whole heartedly agree with Bryan. I good broker is invaluable and
costs you little as the buyer. The seller always pays the brokers
fee (the listing broker splits his commission with him). I got one
quite by chance. Met him at a boat show. He did a great deal of leg
work for me. Screened the junk and saved me loads of time. Lined up
my surveyor and the people I needed to do any prelaunch work and
saved my a good deal of money. You basically have someone on
the "inside" working for you with a good broker. A huge asset in any
business deal. I'm sure someone can refer you to a good broker on
one of these sailing forums. You might try the captains_admirals and
    sailingonline yahoo groups as well.
