    chuck ,
                 Great comments.

I personally hate PB + Pop Corn..... and I would never dream of stopping becuase we had run out of them (in fact I would be celebrating) ---- But my point is that if you are only happy eating {US/European/Asian/Arabic} food - then stay in {US/European/Asian/Arabia} - otherwise it will be.
           difficult to find
           expensive
           worse than the "real stuff"

If this is too far outside your comfort zone - then why travel ? Or travel to places where your "comfort zone" culture also exists.

I am NOT directing this at chuck - rather trying to make you think about "what can we not live without". Of course food can be replaced with language, papers, books, shopping, personal hygene items etc. People in XXX land - buy aftershave - but it is not brand YYY - but who really cares ?

    Regards

                Tim
