Having someone else work up a list can be very helpful, but it would
also help if they identified those things that are unique to them or the
    area that they come from.

For example, I have read the recommended food storage list for some
cruisers coming from England that include quantities of salted fish - a
personal preference item based on their diet. Great for them, but I
would not include it in my list as I don't care for salt cured fish. I
would rather have smoke cured King Salmon. But my daughter cannot have
    anything smoke cured.

    Ah, choices ...

Still having another list helps to remind me of things that I may have
    forgotten.
