I am sorry gang, It looks like all I see is reasons to not to go cruising. If we would of done half of the things suggested it would of taken 10 years off our cruising time.
The hardest thing to do is, take to dock lines off the boat. Bottom line.
We didnot have our 6 EPIRBS, 2 VHF radios, 2 SSB Radios, 4 GPS's, our trip to Colorado to see if we could stand each other, and the list goes on ad nausium.
If you like take baby steps. Go for a week, then perhaps two weeks then a month.
accept the fact that the boat will never be 100 percent. It's like a boat with tons of brightwork. By the time you get it all varnished, it's time to start all over again.
Cut the lines and get out there before it all goes away.
