Hi Rob,
This sort of feedback is great - I can just picture my dad doing the
same. Something like "real sailors don't pick up a mooring with the
motor, they do it by sail.."!
My problem is not motor or sail in, but how to moor quickly enough to
stop me drifting sideways into my neighbours boat. I only have lines
from the bow and the stern to stop this.
I had to look up what kedging was, but it's not going to help unles I
can sling an anchor onto the jetty and then run to the other end of
the boat and pick up the line in the water quickly enough!
