FWIW,
I don't have one but have been monitoring discussions of the topic for
the past year in consideration of possible future purchase. I have read
of people having two tanks with the salt>fresh via device going into one
tank. Then the output of that tank run through the device a second time
enroute to the second tank. It has been remarked that while the quality
after the first pass is acceptable to good, after the second it is
outstanding.
Also read that some who do this will pipe the first tank to things like
showers while the second goes for drinking water and cooking. Those
folks obviously have the luxury of power to spare and multiple tanks.
