I am wondering if anyone has worked out the communications puzzle. I found one techie who has some, pretty good answers at http://inetd.com/Boat/SanDiego05/

His WIFI 360deg aerial on RADAR dome and the Cantenna directional aerial. Also the use of Laptop connected to Treo600 via USB/PDAnet to surf the web. I know this is only the coast of California. I think some of you have said somethings about cell phone and wifi in the Carribean.
