This groups was so incredibly helpful to me recently when I had charting
questions, I figure I'll through this one out. Once again, it's probably
silly
stuff for many of your seasoned cruisers. But I'm loving this stuff and
learning more every day. Thanks in advance for your patience.
I'm working on my plan for my upcoming BVI charter. Planning to spend a
night at Marina Cay, then on to Jost van Dyke.
I've ready about going through the Beef Island pass. But we're chartering
with The Moorings, whose planning chart has the whole thing marked
off-limits.
Has anyone had experience with this situation? Am I to sail north around
the
top of Great Camanoe, and back down? Is the pass that dangerous? Navigable
under motor?
Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!

it is a walk in the park
BUT if Moorings say it is a no no then it is so for you - ASK when your
having your briefing if you can use it and make sure you get that in writing IF
it is indeed marked as a NO GO AREA for YOU and Moorings Charter boats.
regards
David
