This group was so incredibly helpful to me recently when I had charting
questions, I figure I'll throw this one out. Once again, it's probably silly
stuff for many of you seasoned cruisers. But I'm loving this stuff and learning
more every day. Thanks in advance for your patience.

I'm working on my plan for my upcoming BVI charter. Planning to spend a
night at Marina Cay, then on to Jost van Dyke.

I've read online about going through the Beef Island/Camanoe pass. But we're
chartering with The Moorings, whose planning chart shows the entire pass
    marked off-limits.

Has anyone had experience with this situation? Am I to sail north around the
top of Great Camanoe, and back down? Is the pass that dangerous? Navigable
    under motor?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!
