    Hi Richard,
When shipping to the east coast you have a couple of options that are very inexpensive -
the bus is very cheap - and the post office has a "bound book" rate that's very cheap. Magazines are not supposed to ship with this rate but sometimes the PO doesn;t inspect the package closely - and, the regs. are ambiguous.--

    bon voyage!

    Sincerely,
    Larry T (Catalina 27)

Thanks for the ideas about how to get rid of things. I've received
several comments on list as well as off. All good ideas. I must admit
that I hadn't thought of giving the mags to nursing homes and the
like. I'll certainly be pursuing that to see if they are interested.

Books we hope to get a few dollars for. There are ways and we are
checking them out. Those that are left it remains to be seen as to
where they go. Being on the West coast of the U.S. it doesn't seem to
make a lot of sense to ship them to the East coast (SSCA). Will have
to find a place in this area. There has to be someplace.

Most things we store will be okay in good, dry storage. We only have
a few things that will require something climate controlled to an
extent. Most things it would cost less to dispose of and rebuy when
the time finally comes. After the garage sales for some things,
Goodwill, etc. will be the recipient for many things, if they will
      take them. :-)

      Rick
