Thanks, noise huh? Thats what I'm talking about. Would have never thought of that. Was thinking of permanently mounting under nav station and ducting thru to opening port in head. The pivoting chair under Nav was broken and the PO had the upper bracket welded, broke again after 2nd use. Replacing with a sling seat. I'll have to check Sunpentown's web site for Db rating on unit before persuing.

Bob, Depending upon where you plan to put it, noise could be a very
real problem. If sailing were as noisy as stink potting I'm not
sure that I'd be sailing. If noise is an issue for you, keep in
mind that trying it out at home or in a store will be very different
than on the boat.
One can hardly hear those little quartz heaters at home but they can
be as annoying as all get out, in a closed up boat. The same may
hold for that A/C.
