Bob,
Not being an A/C kind of person, I would say that as long as you can
supply the power needs and secure it (perhaps gimbaled) so that it
doesn't become a problem in heavy weather, it would probably work.
How long is another story that I have no answer to. About the only
way to find out is to find someone who has done it. If no one has,
perhaps that first person is you.
