Hi Lisa,
You sure sound positively hooked and also like a determined sailor.
I respect the accomplishments you mentioned and I am sure you are
way ahead of others who are not paraplegic but underestimate or
ignore the nasties Mother Nature can throw at them.
It should be no problem whatsoever for you to crew and gain the
necessary extra self-trust before you will go singlehanded.
There is a lot of possibilities to make single-handling a lot more
easy with even relatively simple alterations. A once met a german
sailor who had a 27 ft sloop. He had lot's of things invented to
lighten the single handling. F.i he could drop and retract the
anchor without any trouble from the cockpit, did his reefing from
the cockpit with ease and so on.
This group is a fine source for advice on boat-choice and for
generating possible solutions for the specific problems or questions
you pop up.
