hi my name is lisa and I am a new member to your group. I am excited
to learn more and would love to sail to Europe sometime. If I cant
get on a boat with someone then I am going to find a way to fund my
own vessel that is seaworthy and can make the distance there. I cant
wait and want to make this dream a reality. I am a paraplegic sailor
and enjoy racing and cruising. I am U.S. Sailing certified and in
heavy winds as well. I have taken the U.S. Coast Guard Safe Boating
course and here is Florida it is voluntary which with all the boats we
have it should be mandatory. Some of the folks out there on the water
shouldnt be there cause you can tell they either have no manners or
dont know what they are doing. I dont want to be one of them for
sure. I dont plan on going to Europe solo and just the experience of
going would be awesome to me. I wish I could solo but I know my
limits and not sure that I am comfortable with that yet. I think
sharing the experience would be fun anyway. Well enough about me and
I hope you have much to teach more and I will review thru some of the
prior posts and look forward to meeting you.
