Howdy,
The Cape Dory is a high quality boat. The ketch rig offers flexibility in sail configuration & with sails slightly smaller (along with attendant hardware) making them easier to handle - which can be especially helpful for an older couple. Also, the mizzen can be left raised while at anchor to keep the stern pointed into the wind allowing a breeze thru the salon for better cooling.
There's other benefits but they're not coming thru the mist at the moment ;-)

As with most "equity splits" nov. 11 :D sad enough, boats are included
but the hunter wasn't meant to be for my future holds different dreams
then sitting around dockside... Soo there is a boat that Just was
listed I will go check out this weekend!!! It's a CD 30' ketch!!! Can
anyone give input on a ketch, I am sure with several of you guys/gals
out there.
