I wear bifocals, and they have the darkening lenses. These work well
for me. I have my old pairs with me in case something happens to
these. These glasses will get darker with time, and might possibly
lead to your eyes being more sensitive to light.
After someone threw me a line that hit me on the nose and knocked the
glasses off into the harbor, I now have those things that fit on the
stems of the glasses that go around the back of my neck so that they
don't fall off.
Bob just wears reading glasses that he gets in the drug store, and
otherwise just wears regular polarized sunglasses. He can't read the
GPS with his sunglasses on. In order that he not lose the reading
glasses overboard (which has been a problem as they fall out of his
pocket), he has pockets that button.

Bob hasn't had his eyes tested in some time. I went to have my eyes
tested last month for the first time in several years, and they have
not changed. I don't think I need to get my eyes tested on any
particular schedule.
