I can confirm that an Engel 35 fridge runs on 1 100W solar panel in Ithaca, NY, in the summer. It uses about 20AH/day with 80 deg outside temp. The wind gen is very variable, depending on the strength of wind, but 10AH/day is reasonable, except in calms. Couple a big solar panel with a wind gen and 4 golf cart batteries and you should be good.

      Okay, now...

... at 90F or 32C, which is a cold day here in Thailand, the
(admittedly costly) Sunfrost F4 uses 10 amp hours of 12v a day, or so
      they say.

My understanding is that on average, the Aero4gen produces 300 amp
hours of 12v a week, or so they say.

According to the manufacturers, I could lose the engine and have
plenty of power from a smallish wind gen to run the small (admittedly
costly) Sunfrost F4. My solar panel would be a bonus.

      Surely I'm missing something.
