Of course I don't know and have never tried it, I was thinking of using
a Gondolier method of single oar rowing as a last resort back up. It
would take a little practise to learn how and a good size oar but I
think it may be a more efficient method to be able to make any headway
manually on such a large vessel. The power stroke on a Gondola is
comfortably held and steadied at chest high and delivered with your
legs in a step or two motion. Has anyone ever tried this? Singing
