I like the bit about the sound marriage. What is the sinking Barge roller? Rond anchor? I have a variety of anchors, or is this the screw for the banks? Say, where are you now? Are you in Europe?
    Thanks
    Lee

      Hi again,

In my reply I mentioned a database. Sorry, I though I
      was in another group.

      I copied the entries:
French Canals; What extra equip. do I really need to
      navigate the French Canals?
4 large fenders (consider ball fenders), 1 for each
      "corner". 2 x 30mt. 12mm warps. 2 x 15mt 16mm warps.
Side tarps under fenders (to protect
      paintwork/gelcoat). 6 x Sinking "barge" rollers, gang
plank, bicycles, 2 Rond anchors and a sound marriage
      are useful.
