Lynn, when you give a flippant answer you shouldn't be offended to get one in response. I think Jim's point was you have to be a number somewhere, emigrating and immigrating won't changing being a number, just where you are number... unless you could figure out how to emigrate to Antartica or perhaps the moon...
Now back to discussion about NOAA:

One last thing, if you do oppose/favor this you should write your OWN senator or congressperson (there is a relevant bill in the house as well, see linked article above) to voice your opinion be sure to reference the bill number. Santorum will only listen to his constituents.
