First, your letter will never be seen my either Senator. It will be
seen and recorded in a summary by staffers. You can be as indignant
as you like, but it won't make any difference. All the staffer will
record is that a voter from XX district supports or does not support a
Bill before the Senate. If you letter contains facts that the Senator
has not considered, it may get higher level attention, but considering
that the weekly load of mail, faxes, and email to every senator
numbers in the tens of thousands, don't expect your letter to receive
any special treatment. They already know you're a voter and a
taxpayer. They also know what political party you support.
Second, make sure you include your address and if your spouse supports
your effort, you include that name as well.
