OK, Ken has said it. Unfortunately this is not a real
product. Lots of money spent on hype, but no product.
I checked with those who know.Too bad I was really
interested in the idea for use and investment.

The problem with this idea, that is using a 'solar
    fabric' to generate a
practical amount of usable power, is that it cannot
    take full advantage of
the solar generation potential since the fabric will
    seldom be facing the
sun, and also the fabric may be very good at being a
    solar panel (if facing
the sun) but clothing, much less sails, have many
    other requirements, such
as stretch resistance, abrasion resistance, moisture
    tolerance, etc, and I
think it would be difficult to achieve good
    performance for both sets of
requirements. Never mind the fact that sails are
    already too expensive!

Maybe the military can afford it. But to me it sounds
    like another pie in
the sky idea that is hyped to reap investment $.
