Hope I am not being a bother I know I "write to much", right?

I am using meguiar's compound and then their wax. It worked beautifully
on the cabin's glass but the hull and deck after lack of maintenance
Rover is new to me as of fall 04, it isn't coming out as nice. Any
suggestions on what I should try? I am using a buffer and a terry cloth
slip on applicator, does bring somewhat of the grim/ old wax and fleece
to buff. I know more elbow grease right?
    Tired arms,
    Bess
