    Bess,

Here's a link to the able sailor program at our club. Able sailor is for people with disabilities including quads.

They should be a wealth on info.

nice engine :D thanks for the pics. While Rover's old one was out and
every thing dismantled I spent 5 hours scrubbing 29 years of diesel
and such although still wouldn't eat off of it;) looks great even
smells nice. Even scrubbed below the cockpit some times being
slightly short is a good thing.

I'll update on the adaptions for Sammy, they are fairly basic
    actually http://www.shakealeg.org/Sailing.htm
is going to give me tips on what would work best. She has a youth
size car seat which is either strapped in the cockpit while on deck
and since she now weighs 71lbs the use of a harness to assist her
into the cabin and move the car seat down to the settee where then
fastens. The seat only weighs 7lbs. same as an infant car seat yet
supports a person up to 90lbs. there are also adult seats just the
same as this one. She windsurfs with cert. instructor in the summer
so I am aware of several harness systems that MIGHT work...

Any one else have any knowledge in this area???
