I heard the same thing on the NBC national news last night I think.
To the best of my knowledge and memory, in the past, this prediction
has been fairly close. I don't think they are as close as being able
to predict the paths that they will all take yet but the numbers and
whether or not they are expected to hit land is getting pretty
accurate.
This year we plan to plot them and, if we can find the data, last
year and a couple before that too looking for trends in the weather.
Since we are contemplating moving to the East coast, this kind of
info would be a good thing to know. Anyone out there know of a Web
site that might already track this year and previous years storms?
Would save a lot of work on this end.
We plan to make a trip in that direction (largely Florida) in July.
Hopefully we will see some of the area at its worst. Yes. I did say
worst. The best we know we can handle.
