Since I am a ceramic artist/potter I wanted to personalize "Rover" a
little. I have made celtic knot bas relief gun metal high fire (2,000*)
glaze, sealed, stoneware tiles that I plan to (only) apply to the ice
box's lid that being 121/2"x121/2" figuring in sand grout and laying a
new counter top. Now comes the pro's and con's of what your input of
ceramic tile. Mind you that it is just the cooler's top and the idea is
for a more or less for a stable trivet (hot pans) I LOVE TO COOK and
decoritive. I am not planning to tile counter top because of movment
and normal swelling of any underserface. Counter will be formica. Lay
it with mastic on 3/8 plywood??? and sand grout??? yes no ( get a life)
kidding! It's ok tell me stright up :| I can take it!
Hope I am not a bother with the questions!
