I am looking for max effic. rpm's for engine not so much speed.
    "Rover's" specs.

    gear reduction ~ 2:045/1
    engine hp ~ 25
    max rpm ~ 3600
    displacement ~ 9750 lbs.
    lenght @ w/l ~ 25'9"
    lengh 30'

and yes of course need a new transm. since Rover had a yanmar and now
must convert cables from Vetus engine to a MJB control with external
brake (teleflex morse) this and the exhast hose and hook up the
batteries and stove/magma grill via propaine locker then get in line
with Brownell for rigging/ step mast then (maybe) relax and enjoy after
all "that's what it's all about"!!!
Hope I have not been asking to much questions!
