Bess, I failed to mention one of his other books, THE NATURE OF
BOATS. It's a bit more expensive but has enough on propellers for
most anyone and an awful lot of other fun stuff

I just looked up the specs on the Hunter 30 and it originally had a
13x13, 2-blade prop. It looks like top speed (max power) under
power is your major consideration? If I were doubling the original
power, as it looks like your, I think I would want to know a lot
more about the reduction gearing and engine rating before I went
from a 13x13 to a 14x10.
Bess, I'm not suggesting that you shouldn't use that prop, only that
if I were the consumer, I would want to know the reasoning behind
the decision. BTW, with those 3 blades hanging out there, it's a
good thing you have strong winds as well as strong currents:-)
