Kerry,
Thanks for the thanks. Both Graham and I have tried quite hard to
have things work well and smoothly.
We have a nice cross section of new, caring co-owners now that should
provide great coverage for all, all around the world. They are sail
boaters and power boaters both male and female. I think they will do
just fine. Please support them as you have supported us.
Now, what new topics are on everyone's mind? I see we have someone
looking for a particular boat in Florida. Anyone seen that boat?
Speaking of Florida, I've seen on other lists that the city of Miami,
Florida is making anchoring over 72 hours a "no-no." That should make
it more difficult for the marine industry there as cruisers by-pass
the area. As more and more of the U.S. is apparently doing or trying
to do this, I'm wondering about other places in the world. Those of
you in the know, how is it to anchor in the Med., Mexico, S. and
Central America, and other places outside the U.S.? Is it a problem
or is it a matter of just dropping the hook most anywhere you want?
Is there a movement there to keep cruisers and anchorers out? Since
these are my primary targets for cruising, I would be particularly
interested. I have this, some might consider silly, desire to go
around Cape Horn West to East one day so ...
Thanks.
Rick
>Thank you for a very interesting list to date. Enjoy your retirement!
