I thought seriously of volunteering to get her back for you but I
have been busy rebuilding my sunk 43' tartan(hurrican Charlie). Let
me know where you are keeping her and I will drop by to visit one
day. I am every weekend in Slidell at Maritime Systems putting mine
back together. I'm doing all the work myself and hope to have her
floating again by mid to late summer. I'll finish up in the water
at Boufouca Marina there in Slidell. Come by and take a look one
weekend.

1976 GulfStar Independence, 52' cutter ketch, hull #12. Since the
latter part, of last year, I was busy making trips to survey the
vessel and subsequently purchasing her. I've made 2 trips on getting
her back here, to Madisonville, La. from Annapolis. She is presently
crossing the Gulf of Mexico with a couple of hands I was able to
find. Both good sailors and both Captains. She should be here either
Tuesday or Wednesday. Hope all has been going well for everyone
else. Fair winds and calm seas.....
