In my other life I sell books on the Internet. On a bookseller discussion
list the following question was asked. Any suggestions that I can forward?
- Evert
"My concern is how best to pack a dozen boxes of books that will be
stored in the hull of a tall ship departing next month for a round the
world voyage. They will be distributed along the way, and will
obviously be subject to temp fluctuations. I plan to put each in a poly
bag leaving the ends open and then into heavy cardboard liquor boxes.
Would this be sufficient protection ? Would it be a good idea to put
something in the bottom of each carton like dry rice?? "
