    Hi World Cruisers.

By way of introducing myself to this list, I have had a dream of
cruising for some years. I had a 40' steel Van de Stadt cutter/sloop
called 'Sahula' but recently sold her and am now in the early stages of
planning to buy and fit out a Fusion 40 cruising catamaran.

The plan is to buy her incomplete in two years time, fit her out, get
used to sailing her and then set off in about 4 years time, when my
    stepson leaves home.

I am interested in keeping my mind on the project between now and then
through following this list, chartering boats, and reading books.

Please can anyone suggest the names of the best books they have come
across of relevance to the long-term cruising life-style.

One I enjoyed, and would recommend to others is:
