    Bill,

    From my own experience I can tell you that most of the yacht brokers
    seem to be more than willing to show you any boats. My guess is
    they get a lot of "tire kickers". One broker that I've gone back to
    has a policy of opening all of their boats on Sundays so that people
    can just climb aboard and get exposed to lots of boats. Perhaps
    someone in your area has similar open house days?
