    I guess it's more a case of wanting to eat food you prepared yourself and
    know what went into it, which makes it a healthier choice than buying. But I
    suppose one balances it out according to time available, proximity to the
    next decent provisioning stop. When you talk of throwing away, do you mean
    when you prepare the food and there's too much to fit into the jars?
