    Hi Gail,

    That's a very nice set-up you sent through! Mine is much simpler and was
    bought years ago, when it was still quite a new idea. I'm considering buying
    a new one, I'm sure they're more efficient. You also mentioned reusing the
    bags, which I've considered too, but mine uses fairly thin ones and I
    haven't found a place to get them again (mine was bought in South Africa).
    Yes, I do think I should upgrade! Good to know someone else is doing it too.

    Can you tell us how effective it is on a long trip? eg how long a pre-cooked meal lasts when vaccuum packed,
    please? Like soup or stew? And also fresh stuff like cheese? My memory is very bad about it all! LOL! Thanks!
