I've been offline for a while but just had time today
to go over the recent thread on cooking and eating
underway. Something I found interesting was the
comment that soft fruit and vegitables would be cut by
the hammock strands and you end up with a mess.
Someone said they would be using a bag of some sort to
hold the soft, fresh fruit and vegitables. But
wouldn't that have nearly the same result? Instead of
"diced" whatever you'd have crushed or a thick "soup"
of whatever. Seems like the same wave/boat action
would have the same effect with the result being that
the "product" would be in a bag providing less(?)
mess. Am I wrong? If so, how are soft, fresh fruits
and vegitables kept? This inquiring mind would like to
know how it's done.
Thanks.
