I have used them, used to keep one aboard, they DO work well, you can even
use Alka-Seltzer instead of hot water. But, I stopped using mine, because it
took up too much room and I found a more compact solution, I now use a large
mouth baynet locking lid PVC bag designed to hold stuff while kayaking. Not
only will it wash three times as much clothing at a time, it is much more
comback and acheives the same effect when you use hot water and rock it on
your knee so the clothes slosh from on end to the other. Works great, 5 min,
    1-2 gallons.-Ken
