As far as U.S. charts are concerned, it's hard to get that region on one
chart -- at least at a scale that you'll get any benefit or enjoyment out
of. (Chart #108 includes Lauderdale through St. Martin, but also the entire
coast up to Nova Scotia. 1:3,500,000 scale)

I'd recommend two charts: #27005 Key West to San Juan (which includes
Lauderdale) and 25001 Caribbean Sea -- Eastern Part. Though these are still
fairly small charts, they should serve your interests. They'll be about $17
    a piece.

They're available directly from the government(1-800-638-8972), though some
people have reported slow service ordering direct.

Bluewater Books in Fort Lauderdale is also likely to have those in stock
    (www.bluewaterweb.com)

    Have fun.

    Carl
