Gathering information is a function we all perform when settling in
for the night. So, what does one do when the information is not yet
    available?

Anchoring in deeper water serves the purpose of minimizing the
impact of a large wave ...

    How often does that happen?

Do you need life insurance? Only your beneficiaries will benefit!

Don't worry ... anchor. If it is your time to be crushed by a 30
foot wave, you will get it. Otherwise, you won't.
