Thanks, for the welcome. I did join the low cost group, sounds right
up my aley. Joe, celestial nav is way down on my list, but I still
want to atleast have some knowledge of its workings. If I ever get
to try passagemaking I don't want to rely solely on GPS and without
an occasional fix a compass won't be much good. I like the idea of
the Davis model, and hope it is only used for entertainment and
