The seller's broker supplied them to me. He had standard forms
ready, just like you'd expect if you were making an offer on real
estate. I struck out one of the contingencies he had written in,
which was a slip at Sausalito Yacht Harbor. I'm taking a slip there
for the time being, until I can get berthing on So. Cal. where I live,
but I didn't want it as a contingency on the offer. So you can put
together most any kind of offer you want, with any contingencies you
think are important. I'm sure that a letter written in ordinary prose
would do just as well.
