    Congrats Mike.

I assume this is the boat? She looks like a beauty.

I'm in the process of making an offer on a Columbia 36. Can you tell me where you got your purchase agreement/offer papers (or did you just make it up)? I've got several examples from online but it would be nice to know what someone else used.

    thanks,

    dwight

It's a fin keel, 6' draft. Mast stepped on the keel. Steel reinforced
spade rudder. There's a Universal 23HP with 400 hours, looks like
it's in great shape, good access for maintenance. T-shaped cockpit
with bridge deck. It's got the standard knot/depth electronics plus
apparent wind direction and speed and compass all on the binnacle.
It's got VHF and a Loran. No other old electronics. It's got all the
basic systems, head with holding tank and Y-valve, pressure hot/cold
water, starting battery and separate house bank, shore power and
charging system. It's pretty basic, so I get to outfit with my choice
of equipment and nothing to bother removing and selling on eBay. :)
There's not even a dodger, and that's the first thing I'll install
    when the deal is completed.

Oh, there's a purchase agreement with my offer that stipulates the
survey and sea trial as contingencies. No worries, except I hope the
wind is up so the "sea trial" can be more than motoring over to the
    haulout dock. :)
