    The Out Island 41 is built like a tank. It handles well in rough weather
    and its comfortable to ride in a blow. I've sailed a number of OI 41's of
    this vintage 1977 - 1981. I think they are better built than the ones built
    after Catalina bought Morgan. They aren't the best sailing boat in light
    air and when you come about in light wind you'll want to back wind the jib
    or genoa to help bring her across, but when you're trying to make time
    you'll simply start the engine. They have great tank capacities and
    therefore a long range. Hope this helps.
