Hi David,
For getting into contact with yachties on the Med you
could also try

The activity on this group is a bit on and off. The
owner/moderator, David, is a motivated guy with lots
of knowledge about the Med.
My wife and I hope to do the Med in a few years. We're
still working and are very busy preparing our
motorsailer. As plans are now we'll aim for South-west
Turkye around sept 2008... So I'm a bit envious...
