I'm getting close to making a decision on which cruising boats to go
look at and decide which one to buy. At the top of my list are two
Westsails, one a 28 and the other a 32, both at Long Beach, CA.
There's also a Valiant 32 in Poulsbo and another one in Seattle that I
think I may want to go take a look at. How do they compare to the
"legendary" Valiant 40's? They look like a smaller version of the 40.
Do they have the same blistering problems that certain years of
Valiant 40 have?
There's a Willard 30 cutter in Long Beach that has caught my eye.
It's not the Vega Horizon, the trawler hull motorsailor, although
those are kinda cute. :) This Willard 30 cutter looks an awful lot
like a W32, full-keel, double-ender, transom rudder, the whole deal.
Anyone ever seen or sailed one of the Willards? I can't find much of
anything about them through Google. It seems Willard is better known
for their trawlers and work boats.
I also have a couple Baba 30's on my list, so you get the drift about
what kind of boat I am looking for. I always appreciate suggestions
from the more experienced salts on this list.
