Hi all,
Does anyone out there have any experience with Tides Marine "Strong Track" mainsail track system? I'm considering installing it to make hoisting and lowering easier. The sales hype makes it sound great.
I'm also looking at jib furling systems. Does anyone have any experience with the Spin-Tec Triumph 2000 furler. The only drawback I see is that it's difficult to change sails, but I really only keep a yankee up on my cutter anyway. On the wind it's adequate (or the iron genny fills in) and off the wind, I have an assymetrical chute to pull me along.
Both products (like all products) advertise like their everyone's answer to everything! Anyone have any real world comments to help me decide?
Thanks,
Brian
