    Chuck;
       Sorry I have not responded to your e-mail but had to evacuate for
    Hurricane Frances, and am re-packing for Ivan, will probably go to Kentucky or
    Anchorage for a couple of days.
        Not sure about NC's cities, but Orlando is central to the state, and
    Lakeland is a big little town about an hour from sailing in Tampa Bay, Plant City
    and that area is closer to Tampa & St. Pete. Howver Orlando is closer the
    Atlantic so the east or north side might be even closer.
       I do have a friend in Melbourne that is selling a 52' sailboat, though am
    not sure what kind. You can contact Philip through Overland Missions (
    overlandmissions.com ), he and his wife- Sharon are the founders. Good
    Organization if you like adventure travel.
