    Hey Mike,
Glad to hear your back problems were solved!! They're doing amazing things that could only be dreamed about a few years ago.

I'm hoping for remission or a medical breakthrough will put me back on the water -- my dreams of clear blue water, equally clear blue skies and a solid boat beneath me will remain!

That Cheoy Lee sounds great -- a friend at my marina had a 38' and the woodwork was always amazing to me - the quality was fantastic - I think it was a 1969 model...

Being a ketch will provide lots of flexibility in your sailing - I wish you great luck on your voyage -- on your trip south I hope you'll come thru the Chesapeake Bay and visit some of our great waterside towns - like Annapolis, St. Michaels and all the rest you've no doubt heard about -- we'll be looking for you!!

    Have a great sail!

    Sincerely,
    Larry T

Larry T - I have a similar story and with a happy ending. Sailed a pearl of a
Pearson Triton for many, many years and dreamed of a cruising ketch (Princess
was a favorite) and extended voyage. But job and severe back problems held it
to nothing more than the dream. Recently quit the job and had a successful
operation and found our perfect (for us) ketch, a Cheoy Lee Offshore 41. Just
finished refitting her and plan to sail her out the St. Lawrence next spring.
      Follow that dream!

top of my list but I'm open to all possibilities
