hmmm on that note Dave KEvin just told me he learnt to sail 20
something years ago by doing exactly what you are doing he brought a
53 foot Hartley Tahitian and on day one he tried motoring and pulled
the sails up then within a couple of months he had instilled enough
fear to make it safe. He reckons he is still figuring it
out...lol/...this is after sailing many times from NZ to the Pacific
Isles, from South Africa to NZ, through the Carribean and back
through Asia so all we will say is...May the force be with you lmao
