OK - we have determined that we are going to need about a 40 ft.
sailboat - maybe 38 - to about 43 or 44 ft.
Tell me what boats you would be looking at if you were looking for a
boat this size. This boat will be used for sailing across oceans
with a family of 4. Which boats should be catching my attention and
should I be doing more research on.
I have really enjoyed the ongoing conversation about the Westsails
but that boat is really to small for our needs.
Can you give me a list of the things that we should first be aware
of like - Keel size, structure, material of the hull, masts, sails,
etc....... What things should be first and foremost that we should
be looking at. I already know what we need for interior but it is
the build and structure of the boat that I need some guidance on.
It sounds like many of you on this board have alot of experience and
I would very much appreciate your advice.
